Entirely agree, what Ditto is saying is that Gaga’s music is only relevant to younger generations (regardless of lyrical content) as Gaga writes for her fans; which happens to be the kids of today. In 2006/2007 I was 15 and Gaga sounded new. Though I’m not personally a fan of Gossip, 6 years later, and I’m looking for artists who are writing for me, or at least writing from a similar perspective.
